About

The Molly Bear Foundation, Inc.
In loving memory of Molly Elizabeth Brown

The Molly Bear Foundation, Inc. was created by Sean and Erin Brown, parents of Molly Elizabeth, out of a desire to support families raising children with Trisomy 18.
Brown Family
During Molly's brief but important 19 month life, the Browns received a tremendous amount of support from their friends and family: people wanting to help them through the stresses every day brought as a result of Molly's needs.

Not only can Sean and Erin confirm they would not trade these stresses for anything, they have decided that in Molly's memory they would extend that support system to another family in need.

Funding
Financial Assistance for families raising children with T18

The goal of the Molly Bear Foundation is to provide supplemental financial assistance to families raising children with Trisomy 18.  Unfortunately we will not be able to support every family in need, but we will do our best.

In 2010 the Foundation provided funding to families to:
- pay for medication
- cover the cost of physician co-pays
- subsidize extended hospital stays
- purchase a SleepSafe bed
- buy a special stroller

If you think you or someone you know might qualify for funding from the Molly Bear Foundation, please fill out the Request for Funding Form . The more specific you can be, the easier the review process.

The Board of Directors reviews, and makes decisions on,  Funding Requests as they are received.
